The Broken Heart Dolls
You never can tell where certain things will take you. For example, here is a project that was turned into a business in 2007. It had a start from the most humble beginnings - from a craigslist ad looking for an illustrator and designer for a line of baby clothes. An accidental sketch caught the eye of the owner of the clothing company, and The Broken Heart Dolls were born. The Broken Heart Dolls were a line of character dolls that were made from the softest plush in the world (trust me on that… it was a selling point). The BHDs were launched and sold in boutique and specialty shops the world over. I recently found a box of the Dolls and decided to reshoot and post here. I like them, maybe I should get in touch with my partners and relaunch. What do you think?
